Weed control for certain aquatic plants around Lake Blackshear is taking place to include: Lemon Grass also known as Lemon Bacopa and Water primrose (in high use areas). SPECIAL NOTE: Lake Blackshear is currently "Hydrilla free". It is now believed that Hydrilla is being transferred from lake to lake by traveling boaters. It is requested that any boater coming from any other lake, please wash your boat and trailer before landing in Lake Blackshear. Please pass the word so we can keep our Lake Hydrilla free!
